Mentorship & Academic Coaching

 

Trained and mentor college student coaches work one-on-one or in small groups with 3rd-12 students, providing homework help and tutoring. This academic coaching boosts grades and builds supportive relationships.

Programs

Lodestar Program

Comprehensive education coaching for 3rd-5th graders, helping them navigate learning systems and make informed decisions about their education.


Each 1 Teach 1 Program (EtTt)

Coaching program for middle schoolers to navigate learning systems and access academic opportunities based on their goals.


Brothers and Keepers (BAK)

Literacy program pairing middle school male students with college literacy coaches to build joy in reading and writing.


Resolving Altercations Peacefully (RAP)

Violence reduction program where college coaches teach conflict resolution through peace mediation and dialogue skills.


Scholars Lab

Comprehensive academic support program from elementary through high school, using technology and personalized coaching to enhance performance and foster love of learning.

STEM & Tech Innovation

Through coding clubs, robotics workshops, and VR learning experiences, students explore STEM hands-on. College/High School mentors lead fun projects like building apps, making tech skills accessible to all.

Program: Step Up Tech Innovators

Spatial computing and digital micro­ internships. In partnership with tech organizations, we offer short-term projects in AR/VR, coding, and digital design. Students develop innovative tech solutions (e.g. a VR educational demo for a museum or a data project for a nonprofit) under mentorship, bringing cutting-edge tech skills to community challenges.

Community Leadership Projects

Youth design and lead community projects from neighborhood clean-ups to cultural events. Students identify challenges and work on solutions, honing leadership, teamwork, and empathy.

Program: Youth Chambers of Commerce


Youth-led entrepreneurship and civic activation projects. In this service stream, student teams (the “Youth Chambers of Commerce”) partner with local businesses and civic groups to design and lead community improvement initiatives – culminating in public showcases that engage the broader community.

Virtual Reality College


Our Virtual Reality College Fair is an innovative event designed to provide students with an immersive and interactive experience to explore various colleges and universities.

Health Navigator:

Non-clinical health service exposure for students. We train and deploy youth as health navigators and wellness coaches in community health centers, clinics, or school health programs – giving youth experience in healthcare settings while extending the reach of health education and services.

The Virtual Campus is an innovative platform designed to enhance learning through immersive and interactive experiences.

Training for Educators, Nonprofits, Small Businesses

Empowering Future Educators 

The EdTech program is designed to equip teachers, educators, businesses with the knowledge, skills, and tools they need. This enables them to effectively integrate artificial intelligence (AI) and technology into their practices. The program emphasizes the importance of humanistic values, ethical considerations, and the development of essential competencies for the Al and tech era. It aims to prepare them for the challenges and opportunities presented by Al and high tech. This ensures that they remains relevant and effective in a rapidly changing world.
